New guitar strings buzz?

I just put new ernie ball .9-42's on my Epiphone Les Paul classic about 3 days ago, the same I've always used, and the E string and the A string seem to buzz when fretted or played opened, the action is the same as it was before, so should I over tighten the strings so they can stretch, or will they stop after awhile?
