Hi, I'm new to guitar and my chords keep sounding funny. My fingers suck. What should i do?

It's your frethand. make sure you're pressing really hard (especially on low strings which are thicker). Basically do what you're doing when you play individual notes and they don't buzz. It's just more difficult in chords because it's unnatural for your hand. Play a chord but play each note in the chord individually until none of them buzz. It might take time but you'll get used to it and your hands will get stronger. But since the notes work on their own, it isn't the guitar. It'll get easier!
